Carolyn Smith, 65, left, mother-in-law of Allen Bowman, 50, and Melissa Smith, 39, right, sister-in-law of Bowman, all of Bay City, speak about finding out Bowman was burned in the incident at Formosa Plastics in Point Comfort. His wife Jennifer Bowman, 43, of Bay City, was with him at the hospital before they transferred him to the burn unit. They said that though Bowman has second degree burns, he seems to  be doing well. "He's kept a really positive attitude, he just says he's hungry." Carolyn Smith said.
